Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and NOVEL DESIGNERS (BN 6882663), of 2 Oshodi Tapa Close, Opposite Health Centre, Ajah, Lagos, Nigeria, which trades as Novel AI Services. In them, “we” and “us” mean that company and “you” means you.

By creating an account, buying a plan or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. Please read the Subscription Terms as well — they cover renewals, cancellation and refunds, and they are the part people most often wish they had read.

1. What we provide

We run two separate products under the same brand.

  • Coursemint (the creator platform) — tools to turn material you already have into a course, publish it, and sell it to your own students.
  • The AI Skills Program — a course library you subscribe to as a learner, including the 28-Day AI Certificate Program.

Some capabilities are described on our marketing pages and clearly labelled coming soon. Those are not part of what your plan delivers today, we do not charge extra for them when they ship, and you should not subscribe on the strength of them.

2. Your account

Learner accounts are passwordless. We email a single-use sign-in link to the address you paid with, and that address is your identity with us. Keep access to it: whoever can read that inbox can reach your account.

Creator workspaces are currently identified by a browser cookie rather than a login. We are telling you this plainly because it has a consequence: if you clear your browser data you may lose access to a workspace and the courses in it, and we may not be able to recover it. Keep your own copies of anything you would be sorry to lose.

You must be at least 18, and everything you tell us must be true.

3. Payment

Payments are taken by Paystack. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are shown in your local currency where we support one and in US dollars otherwise; the amount displayed at checkout is the amount charged.

Plans renew automatically. How that works, how to stop it and when you can have your money back are all in the Subscription Terms.

4. Your content stays yours

Material you upload, and the courses you build from it, belong to you. We claim no ownership of them.

You give us the permission we need to run the service: to store your material, process it through the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and show your published courses to the students you sell them to. That permission ends when you delete the material or close your account.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload anything you do not own or have permission to use.

5. AI-generated material

The studio assembles courses from your material using AI. Two things follow from that, and both matter.

  • Output can be wrong. You are the publisher of anything you sell. Read it before you publish it.
  • Similar inputs can produce similar outputs, including for other customers. We cannot and do not promise that generated material is unique.

6. Selling your courses

When a student buys your course, Paystack splits the payment at the moment it is made: your share settles to your own bank account and only our platform fee reaches us. Your plan sets that fee and it is shown on the pricing page.

If you have not connected a bank account, or if a sale is made in a currency your account cannot settle, we hold your share and record it as owed to you. It is visible in your studio and we will pay it once the account is connected.

You are the seller to your students. That means you handle their refunds, their questions and the accuracy of what you sold them — and you are responsible for any tax arising on your sales.

7. What you may not do

  • Resell, sublicense or share your access with people who have not paid.
  • Upload unlawful material, or anything infringing somebody else’s rights.
  • Use the service to produce material designed to deceive or defraud.
  • Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
  • Scrape or bulk-download course material, ours or another creator’s.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

8. Certificates

A certificate confirms you completed a course on this platform. It is not an accredited or regulated qualification, and we do not present it as one.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service running but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something material that you are paying for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.

10. Limits on our liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that: we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or indirect losses; and our total liability to you in any twelve month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

We provide the service as it is. We do not promise that using it will make you money — any figure used anywhere on this site as a goal is a goal, not a forecast.

11. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time from your account page. We may end this agreement if you break these terms materially and do not fix it after we have asked.

When it ends, your access ends at the close of the period you have paid for. We keep records we are legally required to keep; the rest is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you and you have an active subscription, we will email you before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, cancel before then and we will refund the unused part of your current period.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes go to the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.

Before anything formal, please email support@novelaiservices.com. Almost everything is faster to fix that way.

Last updated 27 August 2026. Questions about any of this go to support@novelaiservices.com and a person will answer.
